Who is eligible?

Typically homeowners across the USA with single-family homes, condo or townhouses. The lot needs to be 1 acre maximum and the market value of the property must be 1M or less.

Are there any fees?

We have a clear transaction fee (often around 6% of the sale price or minimum of $11.500) plus standard closing costs. All costs are transparently outlined in your final offer.

Do investors come into my home?

Yes, some investors may need to visit the property to verify its condition. Only vetted investors with serious interest will be allowed to do so. We'll coordinate everything with you to keep the process smooth and respectful of your time. Walkthroughs and inspections will be scheduled based on your availability. There will be no open houses.

How is the rent set?

Your monthly rent is based on local market rental rates, ensuring a fair price compared to similar homes in your neighborhood.

Can I buy my home back later?

Sell2Rent does not guarantee any right to repurchase. If a future buyback is discussed, it is a separate and independent agreement between you and the investor, subject to their discretion. No repurchase option should be assumed.

How long can I stay as a renter?

We secure leases from 1 month up to 5 years. Our investors want to have tenants in place. Investors generally welcome long-term stays, provided rent is paid on time and the property is well-maintained.

Can the new owner kick me out?

Absolutely not. You will be protected by your contract and the law. You move out at whatever date you decide on your contract.

What if I have pets, can they stay?

Yes, pets are welcomed. Since each property is owned by different investors, pet deposits or specific terms may vary.

How can a sale-leaseback help me avoid foreclosure?

It allows you to sell your property quickly, use your equity to pay off the bank and stay in your home as a renter for as long as you like.

How much time do you need to stop the foreclosure process?

We need at least three weeks before the scheduled auction date to successfully stop the bank from foreclosing.
